I received a Bachelor’s of Journalism from the University of  Texas. I like video production, writing, editing, blogging and web design and hope to combine these in the future to make a career in journalism that improves new media and public awareness. I especially enjoys reporting on political, technical and environmental issues.

I wrote and edited for Cactus Yearbook, produced video for The Daily Texan, interned at The Houston Chronicle and currently am a marketing associate at Escobedo Skin Center.

The name of this blog came out of a conversation with a friend who now lives in Chicago. He said he wanted some steak and I said I would send him some in the mail. And you can’t forget the name.
